Emeritus Professor John V. Wehausen of UC Berkeley passed away October
6, 2005.

In tribute to John Wehasuen, family, friends and colleagues started
a fund-raising effort to establish a John Wehausen Memorial scholarship
at UC Berkeley for graduate students studying in Wehausen's areas: marine
