HEU and UC Berkeley have a standing academic exchange program by which either institution can serve as host for visiting students and faculty from the other. Under the terms of the honorary appointment, Professor Yeung, at mutually convenient times, will deliver lectures and research seminars at HEU, with expenses covered, and can serve as academic advisor of HEU doctoral students. The arrangement will foster collaborative research of the two academic programs in the ship and ocean areas.
